MONTE VISTA EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The mission of the Monte Vista Education Foundation is to make a difference in lives the students of Monte Vista School District by promoting the value of education and work ethic. To accomplish this, the foundation solicits endowment funds through gifts, testamentary bequests, charitable remainder trusts, etc., while challenging educational, civic and business communities to provide the encouragement and resources necessary to promote student excellence and motivation.

All donations made to be the Monte Vista Education Foundation are tax exempt under the foundation’s 501 (c)(3) status.

District Employees:
Help support the Monte Vista Education Foundation with a donation. The District offers the option to make a donation through payroll deductions. If everyone gave $5 a month the Foundation would receive around $8,400 in a year. Any amount is greatly appreciated. In the past, employees have donated over $48,000 in total. What kind of impact do you think that could make for the education of our students? With declining revenues for education, this may be the only way to provide extra opportunities for the Monte Vista School District students. Other ways to support the Foundation include one-time donations and promoting the Foundation to others in hopes someone else will want to help as well.
